The Answers Are Within

I just got back from Colorado for our first Enwaken Coaching training.  Enwaken coaching is about using your intuition to “read” people’s energy. One of the things David Morelli, our teacher, kept saying is that EVERYONE CAN DO THIS.  By this he means, everyone can access their intuition and get answers (and that everyone can see energy, with practice-but don’t let that scare you away!).

On Twitter today (I’m FreedomHealing by the way-follow me) someone posted a quote about how the answers are always within.  You may remember that I’ve written a few newsletters about the “Turning Passion Into Profits” seminar that I attended. After that seminar, I began using EFT/tapping while saying affirmations each day.  The tapping allows you to clear any resistance you have to what it is that you are affirming.  The phrasing of affirmations is very important.  They need to be written in positive phrasing and in present tense.  Not “Money is coming to me” but “I have as much money as I want and need”.  See the difference?  (Feel free to contact me if you want some help to write your affirmations.)  I’ve been tapping and saying my affirmations before I go to bed at night ever since the seminar.

So, one of my affirmations was “I am able to access my intuition at all times”.  I affirmed this because too often my gut has told me to do or not do something, I haven’t listened, and I’ve not been happy about it.  So I was determined to get better about listening to my gut, which is where your “yes/no” intuition lies.  (One thing I learned from David Morelli is that there are different kinds of intuition in different parts of your body, loosely associated with your chakras.)

After a few months of tapping on “I am able to access my intuition at all times” I listened to an interview Bob Doyle did with David Morelli.  David did some mediation type exercises and then offered his Enwaken coaching program at the end.  How could I turn this down?  I had been asking to be able to access my intuition, and here I was listening to this offer.  I couldn’t say no, so now I am learning how to do intuitive readings of people’s energy.

As an aside, if you’ve never experienced EFT/tapping or want to try out my new intuitive energy reading skills, I’d be happy to give you 15 minutes of my time.

So I challenge you to write some affirmations for yourself, and say them while doing some tapping.  Do this at least once a day, but two or three times a day would be even better.  You will be very surprised at what happens with your life.  How do you determine what affirmations you need, you ask?  Listen to your intuition!

Feeling Guilty About Working and Leaving My Kids

I have a conflict-I want to work, I don’t want to work

I know I have felt conflict because I wanted or needed to be working, but I also wanted and needed to be with my children.  This leads to feeling very unfulfilled, because we are never present.  At work our thoughts are with our children and when with our children our thoughts are at work.  Or we feel like we are doing so many things, but we are not doing any of them well.  This leads to more guilt and frustration.

Below are some suggested tapping sequences for these feelings.  Feel free to change the wording for your particular situation, and to do the rounds more than once.  The more you tap, the more relief you will get.  I suggest you tap more on the positive aspects, unless you have some very powerful reactions to the negative aspects.  In that case, keep working on the negative until you feel you have processed it. KC:  Even though I have this conflict, I want to work, want to be with my kids, I love and accept myself anyway Guilt feels so bad, I don’t want to feel it anymore, maybe I’m ready to let it go.  I accept who I am and how I feel.  Even though I feel the guilt in my body, I love and accept my body anyway

Tapping:
TH: These guilty feelings in my body
EB: If only I didn’t have to work-but I like to work, need to work, I spent all that time in school
SE: I feel guilty but I accept my feelings and they are okay
UE: I like my job but hate leaving my kids
UN: I’m so glad I don’t feel guilty anymore. Yeah right.  I still feel guilty.
CH: Don’t want to let go of my guilt bc I deserve to be punished for leaving them
CB: It’s safe to let go of the guilt. No, it’s not safe to get it go.
UA: I’m carrying around all this guilt because I work. Why do I have to work? Because I need the job. 
TH: My source wants me to give up my guilt.  I intend to get relief from my guilty feelings starting right now

Take a deep breath. Take a drink of water.

If particular thought, emotion or reaction came up, you should make a note of it, and then you can tap on it some more, making up your own phrases. Don’t get caught up in the language.  Just say what you feel, and you will begin working through the emotions.  Once you’re ready, move on to the sequences below.

POSITIVE TAPPING:
TH: I deserve to have what I want!
EB: I can imagine having what I want
SE: I allow myself to have what I want
UE: I can work if I want to
UN: I don’t need to feel guilty about this anymore. 
CB: I like working, and that’s okay
UA: If I let it go, something might change
TH: My kids have turned out pretty damn good
EB: Their faults are their own, they are not because I work
SE: I am enough, there is enough, I’m doing enough
UE: I’m doing the best I can and it is enough
UN: I forgive me, him, her
CB: I accept responsibility for going to work.  It is not damaging my children.
UA: I love feeling good about working
TH: I’m okay just how I am. I accept who I am and how I feel. I love this freedom to feel good.

Take a deep breath. Take a drink of water.  Try to do a couple of tapping rounds each and every day.  If you tap while going to the bathroom, it will help keep you feeling good throughout the day.  You don’t need to say anything.  But you can spend time working with words as well.  Just don’t let the words stop you from tapping.

Learn How To Play

 At the Turning Passion Into Profits weekend seminar a few months ago, one of the profound (to me, anyway) statements Bob Doyle of Wealth Beyond Reason made was “learn how to play (any by your own rules)”.

 

This really struck me.  Between work, volunteer activities, kids, taking care of the house, yard and pool—where’s the time for fun?  How the heck do adults play, anyway?

 

Is hanging out with friends play?  Going to the gym?  Going to the movies?  Getting drunk?  Going to a concert? Sports? Gardening?  S-e-x?  Going to a party? Going on vacation?  Mountain climbing, hiking, sight seeing?  Reading a book?  What about playing politics?

 

I can safely say that playing with children is literally playing, as well as playing cards, board games and video games.

 

How do kids know how to play?  It comes naturally to them, doesn’t it?  Play evolves as children age.  Babies have a great time playing with a  simple noodle, then become toddlers who play games like stacking blocks (which helps them develop their motor skills and analytical abilities).  And kids just love running around outside, which makes their bodies strong!  But they don’t even realize it.  Why don’t adults do that?

 

So I suppose the answer to “how do adults play?” is that what you consider play is up to you!  You just need to be sure you fit some play into your life, preferably every day or at least every week.

 

The important thing about adult play is how it makes you feel.  If YOU think it’s lots of fun, it’s play to you, right?  Does it reduce stress, or do you feel charged up afterwards?  Activities that do both are important to have in your life.  

 

Yoga makes me feel relaxed, and is play to me.   When I work in my gardens, I sometimes do call it “playing” in my gardens.  I find it very rewarding when something I put in the ground grows and looks pretty.  Now, my kids are growing up and looking pretty too, but I definitely don’t consider that job play!

 

I know that when my kids were smaller, getting the laundry done was an accomplishment.  How was I supposed to make time for play?  If you have small children and you have the means, make sure you play at least once a month.  As the kids get older, bump it up to once a week.  Play doesn’t have to cost money, except maybe for the baby sitter.

 

So, what do you do to play?  Make the time to do it!  It helps you stay sane.

Karate chop:  even though I don’t have time to play, I love and accept myself.  Even though I don’t remember how to play, I accept who I am and how I feel.  Even though I want to play but have no idea how to find the energy and I don’t remember how, I love and accept myself anyway.

Eyebrow-I don’t remember HOW to play

Side of the eye-but I want to!

Under the eye-but I don’t have time

Under the nose-my body and mind need to play

Chin-what if I could find the time, once a week or once a month?

Collarbone-I forget how to play

Under arm-maybe I can remember how to play, if I try

Top of head-maybe I can start making time to play

Eyebrow-I’ll bet Bill Gates and Warren Buffett make time to play

Side of eye-I’m willing to make play a priority

Under the eye-thank you universe, for helping me make play a priority in my life from now on


BE YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF

Bob Doyle said this at a weekend conference I attended.  What does it mean to you when you think about being your authentic self?  Sometimes people are living a life that someone told them they should be living-whether it be a spouse or a parent.  What role have you taken on because someone told you that you should, or because it was “expected” of you?

Sometimes our roles are what we expect of ourselves.  Right now, I expect myself to be a lawyer.  But I also want to be an energy healer.  Before the Turning Passion Into Profit weekend, I had convinced myself that I could not be both.  But now I know that I can build BOTH a successful law practice and a successful energy healing and coaching practice.  I can do both, and I will do both-I am doing both!

I think what Bob Doyle was referring to when he save us the admonition to “Be Your Authentic Self” was that you have to be who you need to be.  You have to do what you want to do.  If you are living the life someone else wanted for you or expected you to live, you are not going to be successful.

You may be outwardly successful, making money and living up to society’s expectations.  But what are you feeling inside?  Are you dying inside?   Do you feel like if you have to live this life for one more day you are going to scream?  All the money in the world would not make someone who feels like this feel successful on the inside, where it really matters.

Bob Doyle talks about how everything that is in your life now is a result of the energy vibrations you have put out in the past.  Your current life is in vibrational harmony with how you were vibrating previously.  To change your life you need to change your vibration.

Thoughts and feelings are your vibrations.  Your current emotionally charged thoughts are creating your future.  Are you creating the future that you want?  If not, why not?  I have done A LOT of EFT over the years, and I’m really starting to notice the changes it has made in my life.  Begin tapping on all the reasons why you are not living the life you really want to have, and things will begin to change for you.

Tapping changes your vibration, which changes your future.  Who doesn’t want to do that?

I Love It When…

I often feel overwhelmed, get ahead of myself, and frequently can’t decide what to do first… so I definitely need to follow the suggestion to keep it simple. What I know is that the simplest way to feel better, be more efficient, and attract my desires quickly is to raise my vibration.

After more than a decade of research and practice, one of the quickest and most enjoyable ways I have found to raise my vibration is by writing out my "Love List."  What’s a Love List?  A simple list of 10-20 things you love about your life, your day, your family, or your work. (I told you this would be simple…)  It sounds something like this:

I love it when I feel deeply rested in the morning.
I love having enough time to relax before work.
I love it when the sun shines on the plants in my office.
I love it when my favorite song comes on the radio.
I love it when I get the laundry done.
I love going out to lunch in the middle of the week.
I love it when people tell me how my newsletter helped them.

How much simpler could it be?

So if this method of raising our vibration is so simple,
AND it works… why don’t we do it???

It’s curious, isn’t it?  Writing a Love List takes a few minutes at most, feels good, and yields wonderful results, and yet many people find themselves skipping this exercise.  From personal and professional experience, I have found that we don’t do what we need to do when we are not congruent with (aligned with) the success we keep telling ourselves and others that we want.  What keeps us from being congruent?  Limiting beliefs.

Limiting Beliefs sound like this:

(1) I don’t have what it takes to succeed
(2) I don’t deserve to succeed
(3) I don’t believe I can get/feel better
(4) I’m not worthy of success
(5) It’s not safe to succeed

Do some of these beliefs sound familiar to you?  When any of these above limiting beliefs are floating around in either your conscious or unconscious mind, then it is almost guaranteed that you will sabotage your success.  So even though the task of writing a list titled "Ten things I love about my life" is incredibly simple, if you have limiting beliefs about being successful, these beliefs will sabotage you and you won’t take the time to write your Love List.  So how do we collapse these limiting beliefs so we can do what we need to do?  EFT(meridian tapping) is the best tool I’ve found to release limiting beliefs.

The purpose of collapsing the limiting beliefs is to release the sabotage behavior.  When there are no more reasons to sabotage, you will do all the simple as well as more complex exercises to raise your vibration.

Take any of the very simple vibration raising exercises I have suggested in the past 140 newsletters or exercises from other readings you have studied and ask yourself why you don’t do them every day. (The Gratitude Walk, the Appreciation List, the Love List, the "Take Five" game, the Thank You Universe tapping etc)  Typical answers are:

(1) I don’t have time…
(2) I’m not sure how effective it is.
(3) I’m not feeling inspired to do it.
(4) I don’t know why I didn’t do it.
(5) I forgot…

If you’ve ever used any of these excuses (I know I certainly have) then you can be sure you have some limiting beliefs that may be sabotaging you. If you were aligned with (congruent with) reaching success in any part of your life, you would never "forget" to raise your vibration!  If you were congruent with attracting abundance, you would never question the effectiveness of vibration games that have worked for decades for thousands of other people.

When you clear your sabotage habits,
you will do what you need to do to feel
better and attract abundance right now!

Are you aware of how aligned you truly are with success? Use the tapping to release your limiting beliefs and watch how easy it feels to complete your abundance games that raise your vibration.

You can raise your vibration as soon as your next decision to write your Love List!

As you’ve heard from me and other Law of Attraction teachers before — it’s all energy!  A Love List will create more things in your life to love… and it feels SO good!

So, if you find yourself "forgetting" to write your Love List, neglecting your appreciation walk, not finding the time to focus on what feels good, it’s a clear indication that you need to do some EFT/Meridian Tapping to release the beliefs that are causing the sabotage.

Remember, the Law of Attraction sends you situations that have the same energy of the vibration you are exuding… so pay attention to what you love in your life right now!

Below you will find EFT setup phrases to help you release resistance to doing these simple activities to raise your vibration.

When you change your vibration,
you will change your life.

1. EFT SETUP PHRASES:

Turning Passion Into Profit

Last week I attended a three day seminar titled “Turning Your Passion Into Profit”.  It was all about effectively using the law of attraction to get what you want, by using energy healing tools to release your resistance to having what you want. These group retreats are very powerful, and I highly recommend that when one speaks to you, you sign up and attend.  The moment I saw the description for this weekend I knew I was going to go.  I have been feeling a bit stuck in the slow growth of my law firm, and I knew this retreat would help me blow away those barriers. 

 

I think I got way more than I bargained for.

 

I came home with my chakras wide open, and ready to take on the world!

 

Part of the reason I got so much out of the weekend was because I sent an intention before I went that it was going to be a life changing experience for me.  I had been to two weekend EFT seminars before.  I got a lot out of them, but was not ready to take the big leaps forward.  This time I was ready.

 

One thing that is so powerful about participating in a group is that you access things that maybe working by yourself would not be ready to come up yet.  It is not always fun, but facing our inner demons (or resistance or limiting beliefs or whatever you want to call them) rarely is.

 

For instance, I realized through someone else’s processing that I was born with some kind of imprint that “I can’t have what I want”.  I could write a whole book with examples from my entire life to date of how I ALMOST get what I want, but usually fall short in some way.  Or if I get what I want, I figure out a way to mess it up.  This has been my own personal self sabotage.  Well, I’ve been using various energy techniques on this since I discovered it, and I think I am DONE with that limiting belief!

 

Now I’d like to share with you some of the powerful take aways I got from the weekend.  Bob Doyle, one of the thought leaders in the Law of Attraction field (he appeared in the movie The Secret), was one of the leaders of the weekend.  He gave an impromptu 30 minute talk one of the days that was incredibly powerful for me.  I jotted down what I thought were the most important words of wisdom that he shared.  In later blog entries I will share what I remember of his explanation and my interpretation of it.

Hurry Up Universe!

When several clients in the same week talked to me about being impatient with the Universe, I thought it was time to write about this topic again in my newsletter!
 
Do you feel impatient with the Universe?

Do you think you’ve done everything right, and you still haven’t attracted what you want?

Have you been using the Law of Attraction but think it isn’t working for you?

Are you getting tired of "waiting" for your abundance?
 
These are of course all "tappable issues" with Meridian Tapping and EFT… but in the meantime, let’s talk about the very common feeling of impatience.
 
I am perhaps the most impatient person I know… So I know the pros and cons of this emotion.  What I discovered is that while impatience can be a "normal" even "typical" response when something isn’t showing up for you, impatience also slows down the attraction process.  Remember, the Universe responds to every emotion you communicate, which means it is responding to your vibration.  And if you are emitting impatience, the Universe hears this feeling, and thinks you want it to send you more reasons to feel impatient… the opposite of what you want!
 
Read the sentences below and rate them on the 0-10 point intensity scale to see which ones really bother you or have a "charge."
 
(1) I feel so impatient with the Universe…
(2) I’ve done everything right, and I still don’t have what I want.
(3) I want what I want and I want it right now!
(4) The Universe should have sent my abundance to me already.
 
As I wrote earlier, all of these above feelings are great targets for Meridian Tapping and EFT.  Once you release this feeling and attitude that the Universe should hurry up and deliver what you want, you will relax, feel open and be able to receive what you want rather than block it.  The clearing process starts with believing, knowing and expecting your abundance to show up for you.
 
If you BELIEVED your abundance was on its way,
wouldn’t you relax and feel more patient?
 
If you KNEW your abundance was on its way,
wouldn’t you start expecting it to come?
 
If you EXPECTED your abundance to show up, wouldn’t you start feeling patient, even eager for it to manifest?
 
Law of Attraction teachers say that like attracts like… so when you feel relaxed and hopeful, and eager and expecting your abundance to show up, it will help you attract more vibrational resonance with attracting success in your life.
 
Remember, the Universe responds to your vibration, so practice expecting your abundance to show up!
 
The EFT setup phrases below will help you stop blocking your abundance, raise your vibration and open the door to allow what you want to roll into your life.

Another Way To Tap Away Stress

A couple of months ago, I wrote about a method of stress relief where you make a list of things that are stressing you right now, and you begin to tap on them. Hopefully the tapping begins to reveal events in your past that still have an emotional charge (which means they are still affecting you today), and when you tap on that past event, you release the charge.  The event becomes a non-issue.

See, the thing is, all events are really neutral.  It is YOU who decides whether an event is positive or negative, by your interpretation and your reaction to it.  Or it is the people around us, and we tend to go along with how they feel.  For instance, getting fired from a job may be a horrid thing to one person, but to another it may be a blessing.  The same with a divorce. 

The important thing to remember is that it is YOU who controls your response to a situation.  You can decide to become angry and harbor resentment, or you can decide to recognize that the person who made you so mad was only doing the best that they could, and did not hurt you on purpose.

I know, it is easy to sit here with my computer and write such things.  But once you start to apply it to your life, it is very freeing.  Everything in life is about choice.  Some people are natural optimists, or natural pessimists (is the glass half full or half empty?)  BUT, just because you tend to be one or the other, does not mean that the pessimist cannot turn over a new leaf and begin to make a conscious effort to see things in a more positive light.  I know, because I am a natural born pessimist.  But over the last few years I have begun to be more positive about things.  Of course, in times of stress it is easy to revert to my old ways.  That is why it is important to have constant reminders that it is I who choose my reactions to things.  It is I who chooses whether the glass is half full or half empty.

A guy who does a lot of thinking about being positive (or should I say staying positive) is Jon Gordon.  I saw him speak at the eWomenNetwork conference a few years ago, and bought what I think was his first book called The Energy Addict.  Jon Gordon has written several books about how to be positive (i.e. keep you energy spiraling up instead of down), how to stay positive, and how to hang around with positive people, and how all of this will affect your life for the better.  In fact, I think most, if not all, of the self-help gurus write and talk about how your mindset affects your life. 

Zig Ziglar and even Jeffrey Gittomer (who wrote awesome sales training books) talk about how it is your attitude, or your thoughts, mindset, reactions (whatever you want to call it) which really affect your life and outcomes in your life.  The more positive things you can see in your mind, the more positive things will actually happen outside of your mind.  I don’t mean hallucinating.  I mean interpreting events in a positive way.  This also leads to being able to see the next step.  Like, where to go from here.

So what does tapping (EFT) have to do with any of this?  When you find yourself stuck in focusing on the glass being half empty, you can use tapping to change your energy and change your thoughts about what is going, and so reduce your stress levels (and get that energy spiraling back up).  So, you can tap on “even though I am feeling negative right now, I choose to turn it around and begin to feel positive”, “I choose to see the glass half full”, “even though I can’t see what is good about this situation, I choose to know that soon I will recognize the positive” and other similar phrases.  Or, I choose to start releasing my anger now.

The trick really is remembering to use the tools you have in your toolbox (tapping and others) to make yourself feel better.  The self-help gurus all say to write things on post-its and hang it on your bathroom mirror.  Jeffrey Gittomer even has a system where when something is a goal, it goes on the bathroom mirror.  Once the goal has been achieved, the post-it goes on your bedroom mirror, to remind you of what you have accomplished, and help you feel good.  To help yourself remember to tap, you could always do the post-it method, but hang them where you think you’ll have the opportunity to tap.  If you can tap while you’re on the phone, hang one there.  If you can tap while you are driving, put a post-it in the car.

The End Of All Problems

The end of all problems.

How could that be possible?

And yet it is, when we’re able to access ‘the most important dimension of human existence – the sacred, the stillness, the formless, the divine’. 

If you’re new to EFT you could be grateful to discover that EFT fixes your headache in three minutes, or that you’re now free of the anxiety caused by a past trauma.  This is indeed wonderful, but what is even more wonderful is that EFT can also be used at the most profound level to help you bring about a shift in consciousness so that you experience peace, joy and fulfilment.

Humanity is now taking a quantum leap forward in its evolutionary development and one of the leading teachers in this development is Eckharte Tolle, the author of “The Power of Now” and “The New Earth”.  Following his own experience of transformation he is a particularly clear teacher of ancient wisdoms.  We learn from these teachings that the ultimate freedom is to live the realisation that all problems are created in the mind and that there are no problems when you access the eternal present. 

The freedom bit sounds great, so does peace, joy and fulfilment but how on earth do you get to feel like that when you’re busy, stressed to the hilt, dashing around with ‘to do’ lists in your head, trying to pay the rent or mortgage, look after the kids, deal with difficult relationships, the technology revolution, information overload, as well as battle fears, anxieties and addictions.  Let’s not even mention the incessant critical voice in your head.  Does it ever stop?

It’s difficult to know where to begin but a good place would be to make a decision to create some space for yourself and at the same time make a commitment to support yourself by consistently tapping on whatever obstacles are in your path.  Use your preferred method of tapping and let the suggestions I give you trigger off your own tapping sequences. 

First of all, make that decision!

Even though I’m so busy and stressed, and I don’t see any way out of it, I choose to find space and time for myself.

Even though I’m so busy with _______ (work deadlines/business/family/travelling/social commitments etc.) that I don’t have time for myself, I deeply and completely accept myself in this moment.

It’s really pretty difficult to find any stillness when you’re always on the move:

Even though I always seem to be rushing, I choose to STOP, and create space for myself.

After all, what are you achieving by all this doing?  That’s a question a great many apparently successful people ask themselves.  There can be great wealth or great achievement but despite this there is still an underlying unease or emptiness persists. 

Even though I feel the need to be doing and achieving, I choose to learn how to just be.

Then there’s that racing mind to be calmed down:

Even though my head is full of thoughts whizzing around which never stop, I’m ready to let them go or at least slow down. 

Even though I can’t sleep because my mind won’t switch off, I deeply and completely accept myself.

I find that many people are so up in their heads they are quite disconnected from their bodies and even have a sense of experiencing their emotions in their head instead of their body.

Even though I’m disconnected from my body I choose to become more grounded and connected.

There are a couple of difficulties associated with living in your mind.  The first one is that you are either in the past or the future, neither of which actually exist, and not in the present moment which is all there ever is.  No wonder you don’t feel vibrant and alive – you’re not where life is!

Even though my mind is always in the past, regretting things that happened, I choose to live in the moment.

Even though my mind is so often in the past relieving traumatic events, I choose to release the past and recognise it no longer exists except in my mind. 

When your mind is in the future it tends to do what I call ‘catastrophising’.  I don’t think that’s actually a word but I know you know what I mean by it!  All those ‘what ifs’ that scare the living daylights out of you.  The thing is you can’t possibly deal with the imagined scenario because it hasn’t actually happened yet.  How stressful is that?!

Even though my mind is always creating anxiety for me by imagining the future, I choose to stay in the present moment with what is here now.

Even though I’m always creating worst case scenarios in my head, I choose to stay with what is real. 

The second difficulty is that you tend to actually believe your thoughts, some of which are at best highly un-useful and at worst totally untrue.   Your thoughts are just passing through and it really pays to examine whether they are really true. 

Even though I buy into my thoughts and react accordingly without ever examining them to see if they are true, I totally accept myself. 

Even though I think thoughts such as “I don’t deserve _______,” I recognise that this is truly misguided thinking.  

Yes, our mind is all over the place and usually not where we are.  Check out what happens when you are doing a routine job like washing the dishes – the odds are you will find your mind elsewhere, on a track far removed from washing up.  And what about when you drive somewhere, arrive at your destination and wonder how you got there because your mind was totally on other things!

Even though my body is doing one thing but my mind is elsewhere, I choose to bring my awareness back to the task I am doing. 

Even though I’m so seldom in the present moment with what I am doing, I keep bringing my awareness back to my body. 

The major difficulty we seem to create in our lives is that we don’t like what is happening, think it shouldn’t be happening and are actively resistant and reactionary to what is happening!  We do it on a small scale like being annoyed because it is raining when we wanted to have a picnic as well as going into a huge funk because we feel rejected by someone.  Some people are so reactive they kill other people – or themselves, because we are also resistant and reactive to ourselves (i.e. rejecting of our own selves).  That critical voice that never takes a break – “you should have done this, you shouldn’t have said that, you are such a loser.”  We have little sense of the power of acceptance in creating the change that we seek.

Even though I’m so reactive to situations and people, I choose to accept how they are no matter how difficult it seems. 

Even though I fight my life, I’m willing to totally accept it as it is.  (You might have to do a lot of tapping on this one!)

Even though I think that things will never change if I accept them, I’m ready to discover the power of acceptance.

When you can start to accept each moment for however it is and however you are in it, then peace emerges. 

It’s quite a journey to recognise that ultimately there are no problems except the ones created in your mind and you can be free of those when you live in the present moment, experiencing your eternal nature.   EFT is a powerful and effective tool that you can use to support yourself in this journey.
